Artworks exploring the theme 'Dramatic Art' from Taranaki and Wanganui artists are on display.
They are shown alongside the inspiring and sumptuous Elizabethan Costumes and Opera designs making a unique exhibition , entertaining and interesting and well worth a visit.
The designs were modeled at the opening and are now on display in the gallery for the rest of the exhibition’s duration.
The exhibition coincides with the 'Stratfords of the Worlds Convention' with 5 countries from other 'Stratfords' throughout the world attending — including Canada, United States England, Australia and Taranaki—New Zealand.
Costumes on display are by the courtesy of Shakespeare Globe NZ Centre and originate from the SGCNZ/Bernina Shakespeare Costume Design Competition and NBR NZ Opera
