African Artists now living in NZ were invited to exhibit in the show. The public were also to show artefacts they had brought to NZ and Birdwoods Gallery in Havelock Nth supplied stone and metal sculptures made by Louise Stobart and imported from Shona stone carvers in Zimbabwe. Stories attached to the exhibits with African music has created a varied and inspiring exhibition celebrating life in and after Africa. |
