The Central Region of the Association of New Zealand Embroiderers’ Guilds will be presenting an Exhibition from the 18 –31 October 2007.
This Exhibition will have three titles: -
“Blown Away” (open/mixed media) and “Classique”(traditional) for Guild Members from Taranaki, Wanganui and Manawatu.
“Colourful Threads” -Junior Guild Members (primary, intermediate, high school age group) from the above regions
“Off the Wall” - Extensions members from throughout New Zealand, this group is affiliated to ANZEG and was created to encourage members to push the boundaries of embroidery.
Also on display will be work by guest embroiderer Betty Crawford a long standing member from Manawatu who has been a stalwart in embroidery throughout New Zealand. |
